bug bears

Have you ever wondered why?

why does a person walk in the middle of the path on the side of the road or the Highstreet, fixated by his or her mobile phone, so much so that they have no acknowledgment on who is in front of them or who is behind them?

why do they suddenly change direction looking in the opposite way? with no consideration to anyone else that may be affected?

Are these the kind of people who park in a disabled bay to go and get a loaf of bread?

Or park in between a space so know body will damage their car?

Are these the type of people who have decided to eat their sandwich or put on their makeup whilst people are waiting in a que behind them at the petrol station?

What is this phenomenon?

Disrespect, the next generation, superiority, ” I don’t give a shit” or sign of modern times?

The right to feel that they can swear and curse around children in restuarants?

Not to hold doors open, or say sorry, or excuse me.

Have you been responsible for any of these actions? I can honestly say the lately I am guilty of parking in a parent and children’s bay knowing that my child is now 21, but I did do this after 7pm, with a 70% empty car park.

Here’s one for you, do you have a Dog?, do you walk it?, do you take poo bags?, do you pretend you didn’t realise your dog did a poo?

I take two dog poo bags, my dog has a tendency to poo and then later on surprise me with an extra poo that she needs to evacuate, just to catch me off guard, keep me on my toes, and of course, I am ready for it, because I have taken extra precautions, to accommodate her diversity.

but I can’t help notice the rest of the poo I see on the way, that hasn’t been picked up, and some of it is bigger than I am able to produce.

so, I say again, what is going on?, is it just me? or are we into a generation of “I don’t give a shit about anyone else but me”.

I try to be the best human that I can, I am compassionate and understanding, I realise that we share this world with other humans and try to respect everyone else’s space, state and feelings.

I was born in 1969, I was brought up to respect my elders, understand right from wrong and more importantly to know that manors are free.
